How much tea should I use?

As a general guide:

1 teaspoon of loose leaf tea

8 ounces of hot water

Some blends may include their own brewing recommendations.

Does Spell & Spoon use tea bags?

We offer both loose leaf teas and selected tea sachets, depending on the collection. Our handcrafted signature blends are designed first and foremost with loose leaf tea in mind because it allows the ingredients room to fully bloom and develop their flavor.

 

How long will my tea stay fresh?

Most teas are best enjoyed within 12–18 months when stored properly.

 

Do your teas contain sugar?

No. Unless specifically stated on the product listing, our teas contain no added sugar.

Which teas contain caffeine?

Each product listing clearly identifies whether the blend contains caffeine.
